Doing a rental space business. how to issue tax invoice if for example : rental space was on 11 august 2017 but need to issue tax invoice in February 2018?
Why do you have to take such a long period / time to issue a tax invoice for rental? Normally rental is charged for the current month.
The rental space is just for promotion period (3 days) .So collection made was based on an agreement. How ever the person that issue the agreement did not sent the agreement to account dept until now.
In that case you base on the date when you received the rental money and account for GST.
But what if the rental money was received in august too?
Then in that case you may be penalised for late submission or reporting. I suggest you consult the GST Officer at the Customs near your place to clarify this matter.
