give cash voucher as token appreciation

my company give cash voucher amounting to RM500 to the customer as a token of appreciation (customer actually made a complaint).
Is this falls under gift rule? should I account for output tax?

Monetary voucher (face value vouchers) confers a right to receive goods and services up to the monetary value which is stated or recorded on the voucher or assigned to the voucher (token, stamp or loyalty points).
Supply of monetary voucher for consideration up to the face value (or assigned monetary value), is disregarded and no GST is chargeable.
